The Retoric Studies Group (AER) was created in the second semester of 2018 to promote historical studies focused on the arts and literature of the modern and contemporary periods. It has also hosted research on theoretical issues, especially from an anthropological perspective. The activities of the AER cover research, teaching, and outreach, through the development of individual work, materialized in publications and in the defense of undergraduate theses, master’s dissertations, and doctoral theses, as well as collective initiatives, including the organization of internal meetings and academic events.
